Privacy Policy

1. What this application is

Alex's EA (“the App”) is a personal AI executive assistant built and operated by Alex Golimbievsky through Catalyst Consulting LLC (“we,” “us”). It is a single-user tool designed exclusively for Alex Golimbievsky's personal and business use. It is not offered as a service to the public.

2. Google API access and scopes

The App uses Google OAuth to access the following Google services on behalf of its sole authorized user:

• Gmail (read and send) — to read incoming emails for triage and prioritization, and to send drafted responses on the user's behalf.
• Google Calendar (read/write) — to read upcoming events for daily briefings and to create or modify calendar entries as needed.
• Google Drive (read-only) — to access documents referenced in emails or calendar events for context during briefing preparation.

3. How data is used

Data accessed through Google APIs is used solely to:

• Generate prioritized daily briefings (morning, midday, afternoon)
• Triage incoming emails by urgency and topic
• Draft email responses in the account holder's voice
• Surface calendar conflicts and preparation needs
• Track follow-up threads that require attention

4. AI processing

Google data accessed by this App is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI models through the Claude Code CLI and Claude API. This processing occurs in real-time to generate briefings and draft communications. Specifically:

• Email content, calendar event details, and document references are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis and summarization.
• Anthropic's API processes this data according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Under Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train AI models.
• No Google user data is stored by the App beyond the active processing session.

5. Data storage and retention

The App does not maintain a database or persistent storage of Google user data. All data is processed in-session and discarded after the briefing or draft is generated. Briefing outputs (summaries, not raw Google data) may be delivered to the user via Slack and retained in Slack's own storage.

6. Third-party sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with any third party. Data is transmitted only to:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — for AI processing as described in Section 4.
• Slack — briefing outputs (summaries only, not raw email content) are delivered to the user's private Slack channel.

No other third parties receive Google user data.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy compliance

This App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• Data is used only for the purposes described in this policy (providing executive assistant features to the sole authorized user).
• Data is not transferred to third parties except as described above (Anthropic for processing, Slack for delivery), and only as necessary to provide user-facing features.
• Data is not used for advertising, market research, or building user profiles.
• No human other than the authorized account holder reads Google user data, except where required for security purposes or by law.

8. Access control

This App is restricted to a single authorized user (Alex Golimbievsky). There is no registration, no user accounts, and no public access. Authentication is handled exclusively through Google OAuth with the account holder's personal and business Google accounts.

9. Revoking access

The authorized user may revoke the App's access to Google services at any time by visiting Google Account permissions and removing access for this application. Upon revocation, the App will immediately lose the ability to access any Google data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
